Tier & Fee System

Tiers turn a user’s score into visible status and concrete perks.

The score is defined in Rating system.

Rules

  • Assignment: auto-updated after a deal closes (recommended).
  • Fallback: score < 275 is Tier 1.
  • UI: show a tier badge and a progress bar to next tier.
  • Fee payer (per order): the maker chooses who pays the app fee — buyer pays or seller pays.
  • When fee is charged: on successful deal completion.

Fee model

Fees are tier-based.

  • Fee is determined by the user’s current tier.
  • Fee does not change inside a tier as score changes.
  • If a user crosses a threshold, the new tier fee applies immediately.
  • Fee rate is taken from the tier of the account paying the fee (buyer or seller).
