Testnet Terms

wEX Testnet lets you use the app end-to-end before mainnet. It runs on valueless tokens. It’s meant for real usage, bug discovery, and feedback.

Duration

• Target duration: 3 months.
• Start: Q2 2026
• We may extend or shorten based on stability milestones.

Who can join

• Access can be invite-only.
• It can later open to public sign-ups (last month), depending on capacity.

What you should test

• Offer creation and discovery (filters, map, location signals).
• Matching and chat coordination.
• Escrow deposit, release, and dispute edge cases.
• Reputation signals and behavior under normal use.
• Referrals and tier/fee behavior.

Tokens and networks

• All Testnet assets are mock tokens (mock USDT/USDC equivalents).
• They have no real-world value.
• Supported test networks are announced in-app and in the community channels.

Mainnet parity (what matches production)

These systems are intended to behave like mainnet:

• Rating logic (reputation model)
• Tier logic (discounts / app fees)
• Referral mechanics

Mainnet transition (what carries over)

• Carries over: referrals earned during Testnet.
• Resets: ratings, tiers, and discounts.
• Points: Testnet points are Testnet-only, but can be used to determine eligibility for mainnet rewards. See Point program.

Reporting issues and feedback

• Use Discord for bug reports and logs: Discord.
• Include: device, OS version, app version, steps, and screenshots.
• Report security issues privately to moderators.

Rules (fair use)

• Don’t exploit bugs to fake activity, referrals, or reputation.
• Don’t harass other testers or attempt scams.
• Don’t claim Testnet tokens have value.

Violations can lead to removal from Testnet and exclusion from future programs.

End of Testnet

Testnet ends when the 3-month window completes, or when stability goals are met. We will publish a shutdown date and mainnet plan in advance.
